Torno sull'argomento con questo caso.
Pipsqueakery (
Here's the story of the Great Dwarf Debacle of 2016 and why you should consider donating at gofundme.com/Dwarf-Debacle
On July 31, 2016 we got a message to our Facebook account asking if we could take 11 hamsters. Someone had purchased these hamsters off of craigslist and now didn't really know what to do with them. We said yes we could take the hamsters. Unfortunately, after we said yes this person never responded again.
Until, exactly 1 month later on August 31, 2016 we got another message asking if we would still be able to take the dwarf hamsters. We said yes, again, and asked how many there were. We were told that she honestly didn't even know how many and at that point we knew we were in trouble.
We went to pick them up that very same night because we didn't want to give them a chance to reproduce any more. When we got there we found 3 pretty horrific cages (dirty, at least 15 in a crittertrail, etc) filled with dwarf hamsters so we took them and left.
When we got home we did the final count and found out that we had brought home a total of 32 hamsters. There are now 10 new males and 22 female dwarf hamsters in our home. It looks like of those 22 females, 13 are probably pregnant.
Needless to say, we're in deep. Deep in hamsters that is. Before the dwarf hamsters showed up we already had 71 hamsters living at The Pipsqueakery, so now we have over.... well, I don't even want to do the math.
Abbiamo detto sì abbiamo potuto prendere i criceti.
